Jordy Smith is one of the most entertaining surfers on Earth to watch. His power surfing is unparalleled. When he’s in powerful waves, he’s one of the best at matching that power. His aerial game is on point, too, which is a feat, given his stature. In episode 7 of Silver Linings, we see Smith as he travels around Portugal for the recent WSL event.
“Portugal is definitely one of my favorite places to visit,” Smith said. “Especially in Europe. The people are really warm and welcoming; the culture is incredible, you know there’s such a big history here and that’s really cool to see.”
It’s more than just the staggeringly beautiful coastline and rich history, though. The waves in Portugal are abundant and just flat out amazing.
